A purely reactionary piece. Customer service is what I do and my role is to make sure everyone is happy and satisfied. I want all to feel that they are looked after, feel comfortable and are cared for.
I did not get this from Cloud 23 at the Hilton in Deansgate, Manchester. Luckily for them, no one reads this blog and this venue will continue to do whatever they want. However, I have nowhere else to vent so here it is.
We asked to reserve a venue and told not to bother on a Wednesday evening, as it would not be too busy. So after dinner, we went on our way to Cloud 23 (no link included- they do not deserve it) and lo and behold they were too busy.
So we had to wait and wait and wait, with no real idea timing of how long for; so we waited some more. This was the theme for about five minutes before we got frustrated. After a few polite words with the bouncer, I thought common sense would prevail. Nine paying customers would only be a good thing for them, but no, they did not want our custom. One thing I have learnt is that common sense is not common.
If this blog piece is read by anyone, please do me a favour and do not visit this establishment.
Service = Poor and inadequate. Typical.
